My initial solar inspired design was in brass to symbolise the sun's warm rays. Thanks to lost wax casting, I have now cast in solid brass.

At the heart of this design is a turquoise gem I made by melting and polishing sea glass. Once gently tumbled and shaped by the waves and pull of the moon on the tides, this sea glass has reached a new chapter in its journey. Once discarded as waste, I have re-crafted it into a precious gem with no need to mining, pollution and exploitation like so many other gems.
